Leadership Team

Tim Molloy

Chief Executive Officer

As a former CEO, CSO and non-executive director, Tim has a strong operational and growth focus with M&A and capital markets skills. Tim has delivered outstanding results for private equity-backed high growth service and technology businesses.

Tim grew Exonet Business Software, a New Zealand-based software platform, before selling it to MYOB in 2007. Tim spent four years in senior roles at MYOB including Head of Corporate Development and Head of Online, participating in the successful private equity buyout and exit of MYOB to Bain Capital for A$1.2bn.

Subsequently he was appointed CEO of Console, a Macquarie Capital-backed SaaS property management and trust accounting solutions business.

Peter Hynd

Chief Financial Officer

With 25 years’ experience in advising, financing and investing in emerging companies, Peter has a specialist focus on technology companies.

Peter is a partner with GEO’s major shareholder, North Ridge Partners, and was appointed as GEO’s CFO in May 2020. Prior to North Ridge Partners, Peter was a small cap financier with Ernst & Young, Burdett Buckeridge Young and Paterson Ord Minnett.

He is a Chartered Accountant and has been a director of a number of private and public companies.

Scott Player

Chief Revenue Officer

Scott brings more than two decades of leadership experience in building and running marketing and software businesses in Australia.

He has broad experience in cross-channel sales and marketing and has led numerous revenue growth programmes throughout his career.

Prior to joining GEO, Scott co-founded two software-as-a-service businesses (Hey You and Ordermentum) and co-founded three digital marketing services businesses (Airborne, Researchify, Acquirely).

Romain Eymard

Head of Product

Romain is a Product Manager with 9 years of experience in designing and delivering digital and analytics products. He started his career in Paris (France) and moved to Australia in 2017 as a Senior Product Manager.

Romain joined Geo in February 2022 as Head of Product, leaving his role of Senior Manager at EY (ex Ernst & Young), where he was leading the Product Management practice within the Data & Analytics team in Sydney. During his 9 years in consulting, Romain helped his clients, mainly in the Real Estate & Construction, Healthcare and Government & Public Sector industries, to design and build products that will drive new growth levers, while coaching teams to improve their delivery practices.

Having been raised by a dad who created his own tradie business, Romain understands the pain that Geo customers face everyday dealing with admin tasks. He understands the importance of putting customers’ needs at the centre of any successful product and enjoys being at the intersection between business, technology and design. His computer science engineering background combined with a sharp business acumen provide him with the required skills to create long-term product strategies to drive business growth while designing products that customers will love.

Andrew Young

Head of Sales

As a former Managing Director in the Automotive Industry with 20 years experience running multiple businesses and Sales Operations, in 2018 he realised we now live in an online world where market leading SaaS platforms need experienced and driven operators to help take their business to the next level. 

After moving to Sydney he set up sales teams in Sydney & Manilla for hipages who are now in the top 300 ASX listed companies.

He’s now joined Geo where he’s already grown the sales team and increased new customer ARR by 98.4% in ANZ.

He’s recently relocated to London to repeat the ANZ success throughout the UK as Head of Sales UK & ANZ.

Sam Madden

ANZ Sales Manager

Sam is a seasoned sales professional with a passion for helping customers acquire the right solution for their business. Sam is a natural sales communicator and sales leader with a strong focus on understanding the customer and engaging in a genuine conversation.

Following his 6 years of sales experience working in the staffing and recruiting industry for growing SaaS Companies, Sam joined the Geo team in 2020 as a Business Development Manager. His prior experience in Real Estate and Property management has also given him a great insight into the way tradies and field service businesses operate.

He understands the pain points of being a tradie business owner with a growing business. This knowledge and experience has helped Geo to continue to grow its market share.

As ANZ Sales Manager he leads the Geo sales team who are motivated to help potential Geo customers attain their own business success.

Kate Smith

Senior Product Manager

Kate is a passionate Product Manager with a strong focus on the B2B SaaS space. Having previously worked at B2B Food Group, Kate led a cross-functional team in the development and success of a double-sided marketplace. Her previous experience includes expanding her last company into 6 additional markets globally and leading in the conceptualization and build of additional products that ventured into new market segments.

With a background in Industrial Design, she brings a keen eye for user-centric design and a passion for designing experiences that meet both the business and customer needs. 

Kate also comes from a family of continual renovators and a builder partner which has gained her key insight into the frustrations and needs of tradies and their customers alike.

Ming Chen

Head of Engineering

Ming has been working in the software industry for the last 15 years, building and leading high performing tech teams across Engineering, DevOps and QA. Being a technologist, he is passionate about leveraging cutting-edge tech solutions to build world-class SaaS products that make an impact on customers. With a rich experience in numerous stacks, platform architecture, and cloud-native platforms, Ming is well equipped to set up and implement Geo’s tech strategies and vision.

Trisha Nacpil

Head of Customer Success

Trisha is an Experienced Learning and Development Training Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the telecommunications industry. She is equipped with more than 8 years of Corporate Training Experience focusing on Program Management, Organisational Development, and Curriculum Enhancement. 

She has led several new implementations for leading companies such as AT&T, DirecTV, and CITI Bank to name a few. Her passion for training branches out as far as developing future leaders of the programs that she handled, to continue the legacy of the leadership culture.

As she joins Geo in 2019, using her best practices in strategic planning with her background in computer science, she has grown to lead the Customer Success Team. Trisha and her team design the best possible learning experience for customers to efficiently use Geo in running their business. 

As a kid who saw the struggles of her father running a construction company on paper, she makes sure that the challenges of our new customers are addressed. This also ensures that she is able to collaborate with our product team as we grow to become a better and smarter software company.

Christopher Watson

Head of Support

Christopher brings over a decade of IT and customer support experience to GEO. A career specialist in the founding, rebuilding, and running of various support departments.

He has worked with multiple household Australian names, helping them achieve best-in-class support for both international and domestic markets across a wide range of industry sectors.

With broad experience ranging in automotive, medical, construction, luxury, corporate, and other industries, Christopher has founded and successfully led numerous departments throughout his career.

Rod Snodgrass

Independent Chairman

Rod has extensive experience in strategy, innovation, digital growth and disruption. He was previously the Chief Customer Officer of Vector and prior to that was a member of the Spark leadership team for 10 years, holding senior positions including CEO of Spark Ventures, Chief Product Officer and Chief Strategy Officer.

Rod is also a Non-Executive Director of Forsyth Barr, SMX, Vital Communications as well as a number of private growth companies. He is also a founder of strategy consultancy The Exponential Agency, holds a BCA from Victoria University, an Executive Management Diploma from Darden Business School, and is a Fellow Chartered Accountant and Member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors.

Roger Sharp

Non-Executive Director

Roger has invested in, advised and run technology companies around the world for more than 30 years. 

He is the founder of North Ridge Partners, a technology investment banking firm which invests in and advises technology companies across the Asia Pacific region. 

He was previously Global Head of Technology for ABN AMRO Bank, based in London and CEO of ABN AMRO Asia, based in Hong Kong. Roger currently chairs Webjet and Iress, two ASX200 technology companies, as well as Lotto in New Zealand. He holds BA LLB degrees.

Shailesh (Sal) Manga

Independent Non-Executive Director

Sal’s background includes senior leadership roles in global and New Zealand companies over the past 15 years.

His broad consulting experience with the world’s most well-known technology brands has given a unique and informed perspective on Innovation and Product Design.

Sal’s current role is the Chief Digital Officer of Vector and he also sits on the Board of Optimal Workshop of which he is one of the owners. As well as governance, he focuses on working with Product Managers and the Customer Research team to help ensure that products have strong customer centric roadmaps that drive commercial success.

Ana Wight

Independent Non-Executive Director

Ana has over 15 years’ experience across strategy and operations in the TMT sector across both B2B and B2C, and in corporate, management consulting, and start-up environments. 

Ana brings a blend of strategic and operational expertise, analytical thinking and rigour, and a strong bias for action and execution to the teams and organisations that she leads.  Ana has a strong track record of creating high performing, highly engaged teams. 

Prior to her current role as GM Retail at Lightspeed, Ana was the CEO of Vend, leading through Vend’s acquisition by Lightspeed. Before Vend, Ana held roles at McKinsey & Company (SVP), Microsoft, and Spark.
