What is covered in GeoNext training?
- General set-up
Your GeoNext trainer will help set up you and your team’s accounts on GeoNext and assign everyone Team Roles and Workgroups (and explain what those are). They’ll then help set up any integrations, if you use Xero or QuickBooks, and import any information from them, such as your client list and tax info. - Basic features
Once your accounts are set up your GeoNext trainer will show you the basics. This includes how to create a job and how to schedule jobs to your team. They’ll also show your staff how to accept jobs, where to look up job details and how to add notes and photos to jobs. You’ll also be shown how to create quotes and invoices and how to send those to clients. - How to use the GeoNext mobile app
To get the full GeoNext experience you’ll need to be set up for mobile well. To finish your GeoNext trainer will show you how GeoNext on your phone and tablet works. This includes how to install the GeoNext app and all the basic features. This includes creating jobs, generating quotes and invoices and how to send messages within the app.
The session will end with the trainer answering any question you and your team might have, as well as setting up a time for a follow-up session if needed.
How many people can be in a training session?
You can have as many people as you like in a single training session. One-on-one training is recommended so that you can go at your pace and feel comfortable to ask any questions. But you are welcome to group your training with multiple people if necessary.
How long does training go for?
Training sessions typically go for an hour, but ultimately, they go for as long as you need them to. This ensures that you and your team understand the basics of GeoNext by the end of your training. If you have a strict time frame in mind let your GeoNext trainer know at the start of your session. That way, they can customise your training to suit however much time you have. You can also break up your training into multiple, shorter sessions if you don’t have a lot of time to spare.
You’re also free to book as many training sessions as you need, whenever you need them to ensure you’re always up to scratch with GeoNext.
